Carbs are always a good idea before a good workout because they give your muscles energy! Oats with added protein powder will give you short and long-term energy to beast through your workouts. More energy = better workout. Better workout = better results. NEVER train on an empty stomach! Prep your body with my nutty recipe below! ALL YOU NEED:
Heat water or milk over medium heat. Add oats and cook for 3 minutes until it starts to thicken. Add your protein powder and honey, mix until well combined. Top with sliced protein bar, melted peanut butter, blueberries, and walnuts. Note: The peanut butter will give you extra protein and potassium while the blueberries add vitamins and antioxidants!

ALL YOU NEED:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and prepare (slice) all your vegetables. Layer all veggies on both slices of toast. Add sliced egg, garlic and preferred seasonings. Top with parmesan and goat cheese. Bake for about 5-6 minutes or until toast is brown around the edges. During the last 30 seconds add your thyme and continue to bake.
