ALL YOU NEED:
Combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic cloves in a large resealable bag. Add the chicken to the bag and seal. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Top with a cooling rack. Remove the chicken from the bag, reserving the marinade, and arrange the drumsticks on the cooling rack. Bake until the skin is caramelized and dark in spots, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, place the leftover marinade in a small saucepan, uncovered. Bring the marinade to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook over low heat until thick, about 15 minutes. Use a pastry brush to brush the cooked marinade on the chicken. Return to the oven for 10 more minutes. Place the chicken on a serving platter and sprinkle with the sesame seeds and the chopped parsley. Recipe adapted from www.thecomfortofcooking.com

The key to weight loss? 80% diet and nutrition and 20% exercise. You must take in less calories than you burn! DID YOU KNOW: In order to lose 1 pound, you would need to have a 3,500 calorie deficit. Burn 750 calories through exercise and cut 3,000 calories through your diet and nutrition. Wouldn’t you rather do it that way instead of running 7-10 miles a day…JUST to lose 1 pound!?! I’ve read and heard so many times, “I need to start going to the gym more so I can lose this weight.” <Buzzer sound> Wrong! The gym is for cardio, toning and building. A mix of strength and cardiovascular training. Nourish your insides the proper way and your outsides will begin to blossom! Focusing on the right diet is KEY. And don’t you even think about eating less! Your body will begin to resist the weight loss and will lead to plateauing. What you put inside your body matters WAY more than the way you choose to work it off, and at the end of it all…fitness will help push those plateaus out of the way so you’re able to conquer your goals. #ReadySetMealPrep |
