ALL YOU NEED:
Combine egg whites, protein powder and juice from 1/2 your orange in medium size bowl. Whisk together until well combined and has a smooth consistency, about 2-3 minutes. Soak your slices of bread in batter and let soak through while you begin sauteing orange slices. In a small saucepan add butter, honey and 3 orange wedges over low heat. Let caramelize for about 5 minutes and then turn heat off. Heat your calphalon or griddle over medium/low heat. (I used coconut oil to cook the french toast.) Add batter-covered bread to pan and let cook on each side for 5 minutes. Egg whites cook fast so it's important to keep the heat low and cook slow! Flip and let the other side cook through. Continue to do this with remaining slices. Cut each french toast in half diagonally and place on top of each other. You can either pour your maple syrup over top of the entire french toast tower or do as I did and pour about 1/2-1 tbsp over each slice. I carefully placed the caramelized orange slices at the top along with blueberries and sprinkled cinnamon/powdered sugar on top!
